(1) Individual Banking Business:
Based on the “Six Money” principles of earn, deposit, save, spend, borrow, and protect, FEIB provides its clients customized services, designs investment portfolios according to the different stages of one's life to actively develop a variety of trust and financial portfolio products that promote quality wealth management and enhanced client service. This includes enhanced insurance cross-selling and professional consulting to offer clients professional insurance services and promote e-commerce services such as WebATM.
(2) Consumer Banking and Credit Card Businesses:
A.
Consumer Banking: Our goals are to strengthen consumer banking risk management, improve loan asset quality, and expand communication with our clients to offer more professional, quality services that build customer loyalty and profits.

Credit Card: Our goal is also is to have FEIB cardholders exceed one million in 2007 and beyond by issuing Far Eastern/Formosa co-brand cards and HAPPY GO bonus group cards. FEIB is also designing special promotions and special card usage bonus projects to increase spending volume and revolving balances. A business team was formed to enhance risk management and manage loan services to meet clients' need and improve profitability.
(3) Corporate Banking Business:
This Group efficiently allocates resources and implements our organizational matrix, seeks and develops top-tier clients; targets select markets, advises on multi-lateral solutions and strategies, and strengthens our in-house lending pre-warning system to improve loan quality. Corporate Banking also promotes niche products, enhances further our client management system, expands our e-finance platform, provides clients with effective cash management services, and continues to enlarge our supply chain financing business with the promotion of a core-and-satellite system. This Group is actively expanding the operations of our FEIB Hong Kong Branch to extend our Greater China financial services.
(4) Financial Markets Business:
Provides diversified financial services, cultivates an expanding, quality customer base, develops value-added financial products and services, develops automated financial transactions, drives risk management, and generates profits.
(5) Administration & Support Group:
This Group integrates the entire Bank's resources to improve operations processes and efficiency, implements corporate governance and internal auditing complying with laws and regulations, provides innovative IT solutions and digitalization plans so as to strengthen product efficiency and service quality. Concerning risk management, since 2006 FEIB has integrated the Risk Management Department's functions and risk management capabilities and data safety throughout the firm after receiving passing ISO 27001 certification in recognition of our information safety management. |
