In April 2013 Mr. Daniel Rex, the Chief Executive of Toastmasters International, presented a District vernor Award to Far Eastern International Bank(FEIB) for its support and recognition to Toastmasters. The award was received by Mr. Eli Hong, President of FEIB, the only bank in Taiwan being offered with such an honor.
\nFar Eastern International Bank has received financial subsidies from Council of Labor Affairs for ten consecutive years for its distinguished training programs offered to the employees. In order to improve employees’ English communication skills and establish a friendly English-speaking environment, the bank joined Toastmasters Club in 2010. Since then, it has established three clubs, which is the highest achievement among the Taiwanese companies.
