外來人口客戶換發新式統一證號最新公告事宜

一、	因應「新式外來人口統一證號」專案於民國（下同）110年1月2日起實施，內政部移民署將現行「2碼英文＋8碼數字」外來人口統一證號（舊式統號），比照國民身分證字號「1碼英文＋9碼數字」編碼原則改版（新式統號），舊式統號將於120年1月1日起停止適用。
二、	若您已換發外來人口新式統號，您得至本行官網下載「外來人口統一證號變更申請書」並填寫及檢附載有新式統號之證件後，以郵寄方式辦理資料變更。若您有申請本行COMBO卡服務，因換發COMBO卡後需另外開啓金融卡功能，請您務必攜帶載有新式統號之證件、換發後COMBO卡（如有）、存摺（如有）及原留印鑑至本行任一營業單位辦理統一證號變更相關事宜。
三、	辦理統一證號變更後，請您與有入/扣帳往來之相關單位（如：發薪雇主、公共事業費機關、證券公司或保險公司等）同步更新您的統一證號，以利後續順利辦理入帳或扣款作業。

Announcement update on the Replacement and Issuance of New UI No. for clients of foreign nationality:

In response to the implementation of the“New UI No. for Foreign Nationals〞Project starting from January 2, 2021, the National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior changed the current "2 English Letters+ 8 Numbers" Resident Certificate numbers (the “Original UI No.”) into "1 English Letter+ 9 Numbers" following the same format as the precedent ID No. of Taiwan citizens (the“New UI No.”). The Old UI No. will cease to apply starting from January 1, 2031.
In the event that you have replaced into the New UI No., please fill out“New UI No. of Foreign Nationals Application Form”which can be downloaded from FEIB official website ( https://www.feib.com.tw) and mail it to any branch of FEIB with your resident certificate with your New UI No.. If you have already applied for the COMBO card service with FEIB, and need to activate the banking card function of the COMBO card after replacement for a new card, please bring the resident certificate with the New UI No., the new COMBO card (if any), passbook (if any) and the original registered specimen seal to any FEIB branch to handle matters related to the change of the New UI No..
After the finish of the change of the New UI No., please also update your New UI No. with the relevant units where you have debit/credit transactions (e.g., payroll employers, public utilities service providers, securities companies or insurance companies) to facilitate the smooth processing of the subsequent debit and credit operations.
